Hi, I'm Mike Severa, a software developer and entrepreneur. For the last 5 years, I have been building products and leading all of the tech efforts as a CTO. I love creating products and thrive in environments where speed and technical research are essential. My strengths include fast learning and a product-oriented approach, where I tackle problems from multiple angles. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family and learning piano and drums.

We started our company, originally named Newzip (later renamed to Launcher Labs), in 2021. At first our team consisted of Jayme Hoffman handling the business side as CEO, while I focused on the tech side as CTO. I co-founded this product with my friend and partner, Severyn Rybchynskyy. I led vision, product, technology, design, and investor relations, while Severyn drove growth strategy, marketing, and client outreach.
- Gogue AI- A mobile app that lets you create deeply personalized audio lectures based on credible books and research, tailored to your specific problems. It lets you explore, save, and resume audio lectures with full background playback. When you want to dig deeper, you can chat with an AI about your notes or even talk to a real-time voice agent that captures insights and creates notes as you speak. It feels like listening to a podcast, studying with a tutor, and keeping structured notes—all in one place.
Responsibilities: Make decisions in a company lifecycle. Design solution for every assumption we had. Design, build and extend a reusable back-end framework. Configure and integrate Google Cloud Services. Setup CI/CD pipeline and write deployment scripts to deploy a containerized apps on a Kubernetes cluster. Research, learn and integrate any new tech. Write tons of code, unit tests and do a code review Recruite devs, manage the team and tasks
- Launchcaster- Platform designed to fill a crucial gap in the Web3 ecosystem—providing a space for new crypto projects to showcase themselves and attract early adopters.
- Frameboard- Crypto-powered content curation platform, inspired by Pinterest, where users can earn by curating content.
- Launcher Actions- We transitioned to simplifying the process of building and remixing apps on existing smart contracts. Our vision was to create a platform similar to Dune, but for crypto mini-apps.
- Launcher PWA- Progressive web app (PWA) combined with a token-curated registry, allowing users to bet on and invest in apps they want to see built.
- Maindrop- Platform that simplifies the process of creating and sending NFT gifts to anyone, whether they have a crypto wallet or not.
- Sweetheartz- Valentine-themed NFT project allows users to mint unique ERC721 tokens directly into someone else's wallet, serving as both a proof of concept and a demonstration of the potential to send NFTs directly.
- Newzip- Online marketplace for neighbourhood advice. It connects local experts and people who are seeking for advice for some city part, and answer questions, “What is the best neighborhood?”, “What are the schools there”, etc.
- Newzip livestream app- React Native app, where local experts can take or upload videos and start livestreams on the go. The app also allows users to sell products during livestreams, offering a seamless shopping experience for viewers.
- Offload- Marketplace designed specifically for excess building supplies.

I’m the founder and was involved in all directions. My main responsibilities were team management, product design and architecture of the whole system (REST API and client application based on Nodejs and React/Redux).
- Liberbee - marketplace to sell, swap and buy books
- Trademax - E-commerce multichannel public web solution and back-office system for one of the biggest furniture companies in the Nordic region.
- Hotel Management Saas - E-Hotel Management application which allows managing internal processes of the hotel, managing bookings, rooms, room types, generating statistic etc.
- Litium - Ecommerce platform which allows creating ecommerce web applications easily and fast. It includes main areas as E-commerce, Web Content Management, Product Content Management.
- SaaS solution which allows importing recorded calls data, analyze them, build reports, generate statistics and evaluate agents, managers, manage structure of company and employees.
